The King of Football

Ugh...I can't believe I wrote that...

But it's true, a days nights ago during our game against Kent (won in no small part by yours truly) I was subbed off for a bit and I looked up in the stands to see who of my fan club had shown up and I saw this girl.

This really...wow girl! I've never seen such a pretty girl before, I swear! I almost forgot to go back on!

Now, ordinarily I have no trouble getting a chance to speak to a lady, but this one, well, it took me ages to find out her name.

It was worth it though...her name is Guinevere. Heh, Arthur and Guinevere, that's kind of fun.

Then I couldn't get her number! I finally got hold of it (maybe not exactly honestly but I wouldn't call it a major crime...) and got in contact.

Only to have her tell she didn't like me! Ouch... And if that wasn't bad enough...then I got Morgana calling me up swearing and telling me to go to Hell and Guinevere has a boyfriend anyway.

Yes...a boyfriend, who happens to be Lance...As in my teammate Lance.

Crap.

Of course, Morgana and I got into a fight, we always do...she telling me that I'm a moron and a jerk and all that. I hung up on her.

That was on Sunday.

Yesterday I decided I might as well go to Cambridge and visit her, I never have because her friends are all annoyingly republican (like Father doesn't work his arse off) and who should I see with a flat tyre? Guinevere!

Fate! Especially with my tyre changing skills! (Thank you Godfather Gorlois!) Of course...I sort of...well it got rather embarrassing...I didn't know people kept a change of clothes in their cars...

But the tyre was changed and I really felt Guinevere didn't think I was such a bastard anymore...

Until I got to Morgana's.

Because not only does Morgana know Guinevere (even when she told me she didn't, the liar!), they're roommates!

Damnit!

But then...not damnit! I mean I was swearing at myself after giving Morganan the flowers and apology and getting the hell out of there. But then Guinevere came out and we made arrangements to meet for lunch on Friday!

God, I can't wait!

Not that I'm going to steal her from Lance or anything...but you know...it'll be nice...to get to know her.

Really can't wait...
